Here’s my review of these products …
So last night after running around after the kids all day I thought I’d indulge in a mini home pedicure courtesy of Sarah Green and the above bodyshop products.
So I started by soaking my feet in normal warm water for a couple of minutes or so. When my feet had softened up a little I used the first product ‘smoothing pumice foot scrub‘. It had a strange texture when you first put it on your hands from the tub, it felt like crushed gelatine. But the moment you start to exfoliate into the feet the volcanic rock granules start to emerge. You can feel them working into the hardened skin and rough patches right away. The smell is a bit like mouthwash (not in an awful way … it smells like fresh strong peppermint). I have only used once but certainly reduced the hard skin ( not significantly but I wasn’t expecting a miracle after one use!)
Secondly I put my feet back into the hot water and poured in the ‘reviving foot soak‘. These are pink bath salts basically but for the feet. I left my feet to soak in this fizzing mix for a further 10 minutes before removing to reveal softer feet that felt cold from the peppermint oil.
After removing my feet from the water I dabbed them dry with a towel and used my final product the ‘cooling foot lotion‘. This is a sweet smelling moisturiser contains almond oil. This nourished the feet leaving them smooth, moisturised and enhanced the cooling effect my feet had when exposed to the air.
This is a great trio for a mini home pedicure. I even tried it on my husband last night and he was very impressed. He has really hard skin at the heels and he’s never really found a product to minimise this. However said these products combined left his feet still feeling soft this morning.
Definitely a thumbs up for anyone
